An absolutely charming sterling silver card case with handsome all-over engine turned decoration and a vacant circular cartouche to the front.

The lid is secured by a full width sprung hinge, and is opened by lifting the lid and springs back once released.

The case has a full English silver hallmark for Birmingham 1912, making this a true antique example. The makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.
