The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is signed Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool Premier, Tempus Fugit (time flies), and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown, stem and loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company, Elgin, USA. The inside of the case back also has the Thos Russell signature.

This would indicate that Thomas Russell imported the movement from Switzerland, the case from the US and it would have been assembled and retailed in Liverpool.
The case has general light surface marks and a couple of fairly shallow indentations to the back but overall the condition is very acceptable for an early 20th Century piece.

The winding crown is pushed to release the front cover which reveals a glass lens which is in lovely condition.
The white enamel dial is fully signed and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The dial is in beautiful condition.
