A fabulous Victorian biscuit box made from silver plate and dating to the Victorian era, around 1860 / 1880.

The integral tray stands on four very handsome ball and claw feet. The decoration is just about everything you could wish for with it's engraved work front and back surrounding two large vacant cartouche, the lid two with beautiful engraving and a central finial.

Excellent condition, the tray measuring 8" x 6 1/2" x 7 1/4" tall. The underside is marked W H & S and EP for Electro-Plated.
