Description

A vintage gents 1923 Syren silver trench watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around three minutes over 24 hours. The jewelled movement is stamped Syren Swiss made.

The watch measures 31.7 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is sterling silver and there are import / hallmarks inside the case back for London 1923, with the importers mark GS (George Stockwell). The case has light surface marking but overall the condition is good for a 1920s piece.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The watch has an enamel dial which has some hairline cracks. It has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch has a new black leather strap.
