Antique Walnut Bachelors Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique walnut bachelors chest of drawer is wonderful quality & is full of character. It does have various old marks & dings on the surface, so if you like your antiques looking new, then this is not for you. It also has a great original colour. The walnut veneers have a splendid pattern & the top, inside surface & the drawer fronts are all crossbanded with herringbone inlays. The top of this chest doubles over for various uses. The drawers all have the original brass handles & locks. This chest is a very solid compact piece & sits on bracket feet. I would date this item to around the 1890-1910.

Depth - 13.5", 34 cm

Height - 30.3", 77 cm
