Rare Antique English Oak & Silver Plated Lazy Susan C.1890

Description

A fantastic find, and wonderful to find this Victorian Lazy Susan complete with the original removable Epergne; the few times I have seen one of these it has had this triple trumpet flower holder missing. Imagine this as a central display to a buffet or table centre filled with flowers and adorned with goodies.

Sitting on a turned Oak and silver plated foot, the tray has a pierced or reticulated shaped gallery, intricately engraved.

Dating to the late Victorian era, around 1890. Excellent condition (a couple of old screw holes on the underside, I am unsure why and shown purely for accuracy). The base measures 9" in diameter, the tray measuring 18" in diameter x 15" tall to top of Epergne.
