A very decorative gilt brass clock set in excellent condition. It is French Gothic in style, with lions mask and hairy paw feet. It is constructed of brass with a gilded finish which is in excellent bright and clean condition.
The dial is enamel on copper with a brass decorative centre and blued steel hands. it is covered by convex glass.
The A. D. Mougin French movement is of this clockmakers usual excellent quality.

The case is in excellent original condition, bright and fresh with hardly any wear or discolouration. The enamel dial is in excellent condition, with a faint hairline and some slight chipping at the winding holes. Candelabra arms are slightly distorted. The set displays beautifully as you can see in the pictures below!
Complete with pendulum and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
