The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is protected by an inner dust cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and both of the case backs have hallmarks for London (import mark), 1927 with an importer's mark for George Stockwell. The front and sides of the case have the odd mark; the case back has unevenness.

The watch glass is in good condition with just a few little nibbles around the bevelled edge.
The white enamel dial has bold black Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is a little chip to the centre of the sub seconds dial, and some short hairline cracks just below the dial.
