A magnificent and most unusual Jerusalem snuff box, hand carved in Olivewood in the form of a foot inside a sandal.

What is so wonderful are the toenails made from Ivory, which I haven't seen before.

Dating to the late nineteenth century, around 1880, this wonderful piece is in superb condition.

4 3/4" x 1 5/8" x 2" tall to top of lid.
