Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This is a superb quality pair of Chairs they originated from no doubt a fine ship, they have a centre hole where the stretchers cross where they would have been secured to the floor, more recently they have come from the board room of a well known ship builder in the south of England
The chairs are made in solid Mahogany and in good condition, they are upholstered in mustard coloured heavy leather with brass studs

The chairs are 37” high with a 19” seat diameter and the seats are 19” high
