Very Fine Cut & Etched Glass Powder Jar with Solid Silver Engine Turned Lid. Adie Bros. Birmingham 1927
This is a very fine cut and etched glass powder jar with a striking solid silver lid. The lid is hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 with crisp clear hallmarks and makers mark for Adie Bros.
The glass base is in good condition with just one small chip on the rim. The etching is of floral design and the cut glass is featured on the bottom and down the sides. The solid silver lid is in very good condition and features striking engine turned decoration to the surface.
The lid itself weighs approximately 40g and is 9.5cm across. The whole piece stands at approximately 6.7cm high.
