Description

Austro-Hungarian silver trinket box, in 19th century Meissen style, (we have borrowed an original Meissen porcelain box to illustrate this; please see photograph.)

This wonderful oval, lidded box rests on four cabriole feet, is decorated with floral design, with a cast foliate border to the cover, which has a beautiful rose finial.

Just the best quality and a good, generous size.

c.1880.
