Classic Victorian King Size Brass and Iron Dip Rail

Description

Classic Victorian king size brass and iron dip rail bedstead. Lovingly restored in Little Greene paint company heritage range,aged mid grey lead with aged brass. The side rails have been lengthened, strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. Joints have been checked for good fit and rigidity. The decorative castings are unusual and have very nice definition.Original brass knobs and collars.

The bed is suitable for a standard king size 5' x 6'6" (150cms x 200 cms) mattress size.

Max head height 56"

Max foot height 44.5"

Side rail height 14"

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

Alternatively we can supply mini box bases, either 2" deep with platform top (price £225) or 4" deep with sprung top (price £275)

We can also supply hand made mattresses in different comfort feels. Specifications and prices available on request.
