Gents 1950s Oris Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Oris wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, 652KIF with seven jewels, which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Oris Watch Company, Swiss.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has some surface marks but is very acceptable for a 1950s piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed Oris, Anti Shock, Swiss Made. It has a small mark underneath the number 12 and some other light marks which you have to look quite closely to see. The hands appear to be the originals and there is a red centre second sweep (slightly out of shape).

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.
