Description

A good quality and unusual Edwardian period Arts and Crafts mahogany revolving bookcase. The top inlaid with inset satinwood cross banding between boxwood and ebony lines. Each side with matching satinwood banded panels, the top panels with arched tops and Arts and Crafts style inlay of satinwood, boxwood and stained woods. The base with an offset plinth and revolving "X" shaped stand which retains the original brass and black porcelain castors. This bookcase has 8 shelves and offers storage for 6ft.8 inches (2.03m.) of books. Sizes:- Height...32.5''...82.5cm. Width & Depth...21''...53.5cm. Shelf Heights ...11''...28cm. Condition- very good, fully cleaned and waxed. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
