Description

A large and impressive Victorian desk-top inkwell with a beautiful cast brass base with highly decorative pierced or reticulated design to the top.

The large swirl glass inkwell is without damage and is topped by a hinged glass top.

Dating to around 1880 / 1890, it remains in excellent condition having been professionally polished to gleam. The base measures 6 3/4" square with the inkwell measuring 3" square x 4 1/4" tall.
