Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Crisply cast and gilded ormolu mounts featuring classical masks and floral swags. Clearly stamped P. H.Mourey on the base of each. Some wear to the gilding on the bases but otherwise excellent condition, cleaned, rewired and sold with a PAT test certificate.

Philippe Mourey (1840-1910) was a sculptor and designer best known for his work for the celebrated clock makers Japy Freres and it seems likely that these lamps began life as a clock garniture.
Dimensions: width 6", depth 5", height 17".
