This is a superb piece 19th Century Carving, the head board has a carving of a ladies head and the characteristic Large Armorial Crest , while the foot board has 3 scenes one of the young couple the young Man and his young Woman and their coming together, as an expression of hope for a long life together
The head of the bed is 64” high, it takes normal double mattress (54”x 74”) and the bed will be supplied with a new pine slatted base
