Description

A fine quality English Georgian twin fusee bracket clock. A mahogany case with brass inlays and side handles. Sound fretted side panels with silk backing. A pineapple finial and standing on bun feet. A cast brass bezel with convex glass. A glass back door. A convex dial with blued steel hands. A quality double fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell. Pull cord repeating.

James Murray of Royal Exchange, London is noted in Baillies 'Watch and Clockmakers of The World' book as being 'a maker of great repute' who worked 1810-1840.
