Description

A rare satinwood Victorian Period "Zodiac" drum table by Edwards & Roberts Of London. Having a circular satinwood top cross banded in kingwood and with an exquisitely inlaid border with pen work detail depicting the twelve signs of the Zodiac. The revolving "drum" top with four mahogany lined drawers each having twin brass drawer pulls with floral marquetry inlaid and pen-work detail. Supported on a hexagonal chamfered column terminating in four elegant swept supports with marquetry urn inlaid detail and brass socket castors circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: 30" diameter x 28" high

Condition: This table is in stunning condition, re-polished
