"Acme Junior" H Samuel Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A vintage "Acme Junior" pocket watch by H Samuel.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed H Samuel, Manchester. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The front and sides of the case are in good condition with just light marks. The hinged case back has more scratches and signs of wear, probably from resting against something in a pocket.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The enamel dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
