Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Jardiniere or Plant Stand

Description

This classic EDWARDIAN INLAID MAHOGANY JARDNIERE or PLANT STAND dates from circa 1910.

It stands on three slender, splayed legs which finish with brass toes. With much cross-banding, the bottom tier is inlaid with a stylised bloom.

The JARDINIERE retains its original brass lion masks, beaded brass swags and brass liner.

It could also be used as a wine cooler or ice bucket.

Height: 36.25 inches (92 cm)

Maximum Diameter: 14 inches (36 cm)
