Late Georgian Oak Mule Chest C.1800.

Description

Beautiful late Georgian oak mule chest, probably originating around the Wales Cheshire boarder c.1800. A large storage chest with a lift up lid plus three oak lined drawers in the base. Five raised and fielded panels with mahogany crossbanding flanked on each side with reeded quarter columns and raised on shaped bracket feet. Some earlier restorations to the drawer fronts and period replacement handles. Otherwise excellent condition and particularly good colour and patina.

Dimensions: width 61", depth 22", height 33".
