Antique Silver Gilt & Guilloche Enamel Pill Box - 1910

Description

A wonderful Edwardian pill box made from sterling silver and washed in gold (silver gilt), some normal wear to the gilt around the sides of the box.

The top of the lid is decorated with a wonderful powder blue guilloche enamel with a bright patina showcasing the intricate engine turned decoration below.

The lid lifts off to reveal a lavishly gilded interior. The underside has a full mark for sterling silver (925) with the import mark for London 1910 by Erich Kellerman. 1 1/2" in diameter x 5/8" thick.
