Description

A vintage gents 1950s Tempex hand winding wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped Tempex, Swiss and the serial number 101.

The watch measures 31.8 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 41.3 mm including the lugs. The gold plated case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back is stamped stainless steel back, Swiss made.

The lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The dial is signed Tempex, shock resistant with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has its original hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.
