Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Comprising six singles and two carvers, each solid mahogany chair features a well-carved back and central splat, whilst the drop-in seats are supported on carved cabriole legs which terminate in claw-and-ball feet. The carvers have well formed arms, the 'knuckles' of which are carved with acanthus leaves.
