Description

A wonderful example of a novelty late Victorian travel inkwell in the from of a glove made by covering the metal base with paper sections to create a globe. This one is in superb condition as may have much of the paper covering missing.

The sprung lid is opened by a concealed button at the front to reveal a single ink chamber again with sprung lid and a removable ink chamber. Next to this is a red bristle pen or nib wipe.

Dating to around 1900, measuring approximately 2" in diameter.
