After Alfred Rogers and Published by C. Goodhall & Son., London (1820-1921) a Pair of Rare Coloured Lithographs of The Great Fred Archer entitled '' A bird that must be kep in a Birdcage'' c1890's with Classic winners. The Birdcage referring to area of Newmarket Racecourse. The other of George Fordham entitled ''The Grand Old Jockey'' as he was that much older than Archer. Two of the greatest jockeys ever.

George Fordham (1837–1887) was a British flat racing jockey. He was Champion Jockey every year between 1855 and 1863, as well as four other occasions in his own right and once as joint champion. He the won the Derby in 1879, won the Oaks five times, and the Grand Prix de Paris three times. His career high was 165 wins in 1862.[1] He was described in 1910 as "one of the greatest jockeys of all-time".

Frederick James "Fred" Archer (11 January 1857 –8 November 1886), also known by the nickname The Tin Man, was an English flat race jockey of the Victorian era, described as "the best all-round jockey that the turf has ever seen". He set records for the number of Champion Jockey titles (13), number of wins in a season (246) and number of race wins (2748) which remained unthreatened until the arrival of Steve Donoghue and Sir Gordon Richards well into the 20th Century. Delirious from wasting and the loss of his wife during childbirth, he shockingly took his own life at the age of 29.
