A Good Oak George III Period Antique Dresser Base

Description

A good oak George III Period dresser base. With a two plank oak top of wonderful colour and patination, above an arrangement of five rectangular drawers with raised drawer fronts, pierced brass back plate handles and with an arched "dog kennel" centre. The whole supported on four vase shaped "silhouette" supports with square back supports. England circa 1780

Dimensions: 77" wide x 20" deep x 30" high

Condition: This dresser base is in excellent original condition with original drawer linings throughout, the handles have been replaced at some time but the escutcheons are original. One or two ancient repairs to the legs. A stunning colour and patination
