A High Quality table cabinet by the London cabinet making firm of Holland and Son, one of the most highly regarded firms of the 19th century, The cabinet is in Burr Walnut with applied Ormolu mounts with line inlay to the top and sides, The top door folds down to reveal 2 sliding shelves ,the bottom door opens to reveal 2 fixed shelves. this superb item is in excellent condition with a lovely colour to the Walnut, it was probably made to stand on a Library table or desk.
