Birmingham 1889. Silver ''Hobnail'' Style Vesta Case.
This stunning and unusual vesta case dates to 1889. Featuring a geometric ''hobnail'' style decoration it is a striking example of a 19th Century Vesta Case.
It displays the makers mark of Nathan and Hayes alongside the hallmarks which are crisp and clear. It is in very good condition throughout with the smallest of scratches on the side. The lid closes with a reassuring click .
In total it weighs approximately 19g.
Overall in very good condition and this would make an excellent addition to any Vesta collection.
