A Beautiful Mahogany Inlaid Late Victorian Period Octagonal Table

Description

A beautiful mahogany inlaid Late Victorian Period octagonal table. Having an octagonal shaped top with a wonderful central floral marquetry and pen-work panel, cross banded in satinwood and with a further exquisite foliate marquetry and pen-work border. With a quadruple reeded edge above a flame mahogany veneered frieze with boxwood line inlaid detail. Supported on four square tapering supports with further marquetry inlaid detail, brass castors and united by a swept under-tier and central fluted column support, probably made by Edwards and Roberts of London or Maple & Co although un-marked. English circa 1900

Dimensions: 36" diameter x 29" high

Condition: This table is in stunning condition, re-polished in our workshops
