Superb Set Three Antique French Brass Photograph Frames C.1880

How wonderful to have found a set of three of these frames, one large and two smaller.

The nineteenth century frames are beautifully cast with continual Acanthus leaf swags and wreathes. Each hangs on a chain to create a highly attractive grouping on the wall.

Excellent condition. The small pair measures 4 1/4" across and hang 9 1/4" with a glazed aperture measuring 2 1/2" in diameter. The large frame measures 5 1/2" across and hangs 11 1/2" with the glazed aperture measuring 3 1/2" in diameter. c.1880.
