Description

Very attractive king size black and brass no foot board end Victorian bed. carefully restored in hand finish black with light gold highlights and brass top rail. Lovely ageing in iron and detail in decorative castings, please see close up images. Beds of this type are ideal for smaller rooms or rooms with a view; allowing maximum sleeping area with minimum foot print. Side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats.

Suitable for king size mattress 5' x 6'6" (150 cms x 200 cms)

Head board height 54"

Rail height 14"

Overall length 80.5"

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

Alternatively we can supply mini box bases either 2" deep with a platform top for £225 or 4" deep with a platform top or sprung top. These afford a superior support to the mattress and raise the get into bed height. We can also send details on request of the hand made mattresses we supply.
