A magnificent and scarce stamp box ( I have never seen this model before) made from cast brass, beautifully executed with fine detail.

The hinged lid opens up to reveal the square postage stamp chamber with it's sloped interior.

Dating to around 1870, Victorian in era, the box remains in superb condition. 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".
