A Small Mahogany Victorian Period Collectors Wellington Chest

Description

A Victorian Period Small Mahogany collectors wellington chest. Having a rectangular "plum pudding" mahogany top above a moulded frieze and with an arrangement of ten mahogany lined collectors drawers. Each drawer with their original ebony turned knobs and having finely cut dovetails, flanked by protruding mahogany pilasters. The right hand pilaster acting as the hinged locking mechanism. Having "plum pudding" mahogany sides and supported on a rectangular mahogany plinth. English circa 1880

Dimensions: 16" wide x 10" deep x 28.5" high

Condition: This wellington chest is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
