Vintage Gents 1940s Art Deco Wrist Watch

Description

Vintage gents 1940s Art Deco wrist watch

The watch has a jewelled hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 25.6 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 36 mm high including the lugs. The chrome plated case has light surface marks from use and some wear to the bezel although it has a good vintage look.

The lens is plastic and has light surface marking to the outer edge.

The two tone dial has some surface marking and light discolouration but otherwise it is in nice condition. It has its original blued steel hands.

The watch has a new black leather strap.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
