Antique Regency Mahogany Desk Chair

Description

A handsome antique Regency desk chair in Mahogany. With gadrooned top rail with spiral carving and carved bar back. With reeding to the back and sides it stands on out-swept sabre legs. The slip in seat has been newly re-upholstered in a brocade fabric with large gold swirls on a cream background. A lovely warm patina to the mahogany. Dating from circa 1830.

Condition Report:

Solid. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Some old mends to the back splat. Newly reupholstered.
