Description

An extremely nice quality French rosewood floral marquetry Bureau De Dame inlaid with various coloured woods and boxwood string inlay. The Bureau stands on cabriole shaped legs and is finished with quality bronze gilt ormolu mounts and gallery.

Inside, the Bureau has three drawers with a sliding storage compartment and has been re-leathered in a maroon leather with gold embossed tooling .

The Lock is stamped 'P Kuel PARIS' which is more than likely to be the locksmiths name.

Height - 38 inches

Width - 30 inches

Depth - 18 ½ inches
