Georgian Mahogany Chest on Stand C1780

Description

Superb george 111 mahogany chest on stand and dating form around 1780. Constructed from solid mahogany it has a moulded edge to the rectangular top above a carved frieze. There are two short drawers over three long drawers all being oak lined. The solid mahogany stand, which is later has a moulded edge with deep frieze on long elegant cabriole legs with large claw & ball feet. The brass handles and escutcheons are sourced after the originals.

We also have another near matching cabinet should you require a pair.

The chest and stand separate for ease of transporting.

It measures: 66" high X 22" deep X 43.5" wide. The height of the stand is 27"
