A Walnut Victorian Period Antique Pedestal Desk

19th century
Description

A walnut Victorian Period antique pedestal desk. Having a rectangular top with rounded corners and an inset pale blue Moroccan leather writing surface which appears to be the original. The top with three rectangular mahogany lined drawers and each pedestal having a further three graduating mahogany lined drawers, retaining their original walnut turned drawer pulls and working locks and key. The pedestals having rounded corners and solid walnut ends and backs. The whole supported on a walnut veneered plinth with concealed castors. English circa 1880

Dimensions: 48" wide x 22" deep x 29" high (knee hole 20" wide x 23" high)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed.
