Description

A vintage 1940s gents Tempex hand-winding wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped Tempex, Swiss made and the calibre number B 36.

The watch measures 31.9 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 39.7 mm high including the lugs. The chrome plated case has light surface marking from use and light wear to the edges although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back is stainless steel and has light surface scratches.

The lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Tempex with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has light discolouring but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.
