A really eye-catching silver-plated ''tete-a-tete'' tea or coffee set from Argentor of Vienna.
Comprising of a tray with a tall handle and two small elevated trays for the cream jug and sugar bowl.
The tea/coffee pot has a cane wrapped handle and knob and the two small cups come with tailored glass inserts.
Very Art Deco in its styling but probably a little earlier.
Every metal piece is stamped with the maker''s mark.
There is one very small ''dink'' to the base of the pot but otherwise the set is in very good order.
The glass liners for the cups are not original but are completely in keeping.
Length of the tray is 32.5 cm, width at its widest point 16.5 cm and the overall height is a touch over 30 cm.
