The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
A winding key will be included. The movement is signed DF&C for Dimier Freres & Cie (Dimier Freres were well known importers and sellers of Swiss watches and had an office in London). The movement is protected by a hinged cover.

The watch measures 38mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss silver marks inside both of the case backs. The case is exquisitely detailed and is in nice condition. The lens has light marks but is very acceptable.
The pretty dial is in good condition with just light marks.
The watch comes with a silver double watch chain; each chain measures 20cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
