Description

A gents 1940s Cyma wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, calibre R458, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Cyma, Tavannes, Switzerland, 17 Jewels together with a serial number.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated and the condition is good for such an early piece with just general minor marks. The snap-on case back is stainless steel and it has the Cyma Watch Co stamp inside.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed Cyma, Cymaflex, Swiss Made. There is light marking to the dial but all very acceptable for its age.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.
