The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The movement is signed Omega, Swiss, 15 Jewels and it has the serial number 9,710,665 which dates it back to the early 1940s.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has the odd mark but overall the condition is very nice for such an early piece. The inside of the snap-on case back has the Omega triangular stamp. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The lens is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition; it appears to have been professionally refinished at some stage. Blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
