Unusual French beech faux bamboo. These are real bits of history bed steaming from the time when bamboo was a very special and rare construction material that was very expensive to import. It is also unusual to find these beds at this width. They are more commonly found in smaller sizes and sometimes as part of suites.

Rich patina and colour. Both head and foot have warped a little over the years making the bed quirky and interesting. Structurally sound.

Suitable for king size mattress 5' x 6'6"

Alternatively we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise get in to bed height if required. 2" platform top £225 or 4" platform or sprung top for £275. We can also supply hand made mattresses and can send specifications and price list on request.
