Large Silver Lancashire Watch Co Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Large antique 1900 silver Lancashire Watch Co English Lever pocket watch.

The watch has a key winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to around three minutes over 24 hours - a winding key is included. The movement is numbered 492999 and it has its original dust cover.

The watch measures 57.8 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case has Chester hallmarks for 1900 with the case makers mark T.P.H. (Thomas Peter Hewitt, The Lancashire Watch Company). The case is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Improved Patent, English Lever. It has a small hairline crack below the sub second dial but otherwise it is in nice condition with original hands.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
