Delightful Edwardian era chinoiserie style canework armchair c.1905. Striking lacquerwork medallion featuring an oriental woman set at the centre of a radiating pattern canework or bergere backrest. Ebonised frame with further gilded and laquerwork painted detail around the seat and legs. Excellent original condition, wear to the paintwork on the arms.

Dimensions: width 22", depth 18", height 35".
