A Small Mahogany Regency Period Secretaire Bookcase

19th century
Description

A Small mahogany Regency Period antique secretaire bookcase. The upper bookcase section with a flared cornice above twin glazed doors enclosing three adjustable mahogany shelves with solid mahogany sides. The lower section with a rectangular fall front secretaire with lions mask oval handles and veneered in beautiful flame mahogany, which opens to reveal a well fitted interior having pigeon holes, drawers and a baize lined writing surface, above twin flame veneered mahogany panelled doors with a shelved interior. The whole supported on the original splayed feet. English circa 1820-1830

Dimensions: 34" wide x 16" deep x 80" high

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
